A very busy month sees Thomas make his debut with the BBC Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Brett Dean) in the UK premiere of Anthony Pateras's 'Immediata' (Double Concerto for Violin and Live Electronics), a Britten Sinfonia at Lunch tour that includes a world premiere by Bryce Dessner and Schumann's Piano Quartet, guest directing the Sainsbury Royal Academy Soloists in a concert at Temple Church forming part of the Menuhin Competition, recitals with Gwilym Simcock in Chester and London's Kings Place, a performance of Mozart's Divertimento with Aurora principal players at the Wigmore Hall, and two performances of Thomas Adès's Violin Concerto 'Concentric Paths' with Philharmonie Zuidnederland (conducted by Garry Walker) in the Netherlands.

Thomas appeared on live German TV show ‘ZDF Aspekte’ performing an excerpt from The Lark Ascending with pianist Julien Quentin. Watch it here (in English).
